The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT) is a non-invasive external massage. It guides internal abdominal organs into proper position for optimum health and well being. ATMAT improves organ function by releasing physical and emotional congestion from the abdomen. This treatment is effective for both women and men of all ages, for fertility enhancement, for during pregnancy also pre and post partum.

ATMAT applies anatomy, physiology and massage therapy with ancient traditional Maya healing techniques to address common female and male complaints. ATMAT works by relieving congestion and blockages to improve the flow through the pelvic bowl, of blood, lymph, nerve and energy/chi systems to prevent progression of chronic disease symptomology.

Pamela is a B.C. Registered Massage Therapist, Certified ATMAT Practitioner, and Herbalist.

Each treatment includes a health history review, discussion and creation of a treatment plan suited for the individual, assessment, treatment and self care education. I draw from so many therapeutic massage techniques. Favourites are: myofascial release (MFR), muscle energy technique (MET), manual lymph drainage (MLD) and lots of specific, careful, deep massage. I hold a peaceful, grounded healing container for all treatments, whether they are for injury recovery, chronic or acute pain, stress management, area-specific or full body.

Pamela practices all treatment offerings within the scope of practice of the College of Massage Therapists of BC. ATMAT treatments are additionally within the guidelines of Arvigo Therapy honouring the Maya lineage. Pamela has advanced trainings in Pregnancy Care: Pre- Conception to Post Partum, Foot Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, MET, MFR and Self Care. Teachings from the elementals, Elders and spiritual wisdom keepers woven with conventional training in Massage Therapy, healing arts and life’s experience create the healing facilitation that Pamela shares in her practice today.

Pamela is now available for bookings on Sangan Drive, near Masset, BC.
